Soccer season has begun!

Alex has been so excited for soccer to start. When his coach wanted to have his team participate in the Kohls Cup this weekend, Alex was thrilled...3 games in one day! Could it get any better?

Well, we were lucky to have good soccer weather, a field CLOSE to home (about 1 mile away!) and a fairly free Saturday (except for soccer, of course).

The first game, Alex hadn't gotten his stride yet. But, by the second game he was ON! Before the 2nd game, he asked if he could have a treat if he got a goal. I said SURE! Why not! He got way more aggressive and scored 2 goals! Yippee! The 3rd game, he got another goal. Plus as an added bonus (to hime) he was able to play goalie part of the time. No one scored on him! Way to go Alex! He told me after all the games that he "LOVES THIS DAY!"
