Well, were off to a new and exciting school year! Yesterday, the kids were SO excited to go to school. And so was I! (I was also sad to see them go because we've had lots of fun hanging out this summer.)
When Hayden got up yesterday, he announced that he hadn't slept all night because he was so excited. Shortly after breakfast, he fell asleep in his bed! He was that tired! Then there was Alex who kept asking if he could leave for school because since he is now a 2nd grader he needs to leave even earlier. (WHAT?!?) Then there was Natalie who thought she was going to go to school too. (Not 'til Wed, Nat!) So, she grabbed her backpacked and squished into the photo.

Hayden loves riding the bus to school! And was thrilled that Dad stayed around to see him off.
Here's Alex with his walking group. This is their 3rd year together!

Both the boys had great days at school. When they got home they were so excited to tell me about their day over our traditional plate of ALL YOU CAN EAT cookies and milk. Yea for school!

Our grands are growing soooo big! I can hardy wait to see them in a few weeks!
