Over the Labor Day Weekend, we pulled the boys out of school early and headed down to Depoe Bay, OR. We love the Oregon coast! Especially when the weather cooperates, like it did that weekend. It was supposed to be RAINY pretty much the whole time. Bummer! But we made plans to work around the dreary weather. However, we were lucky because it HARDLY rained! We ended up having gorgeous weather...shorts and t-shirt weather!
So, we scrapped our back up plans and instead we:
played in the sand...
waded in the ocean...
searched for treasure...
climbed and jumped off the rocks...
added squished pennies to our collections...
posed for many pictures...

visited an actual working lighthouse...
hung out as a family...
and we played TONS in the pool, soaked in the hot tub, watched evening movies, ate lots of junk food, shopped a little and just had an overall great time!

I think it's cheating if you carve pumpkins w/ power tools! you have a very cute blog w/ lots of great pictures. It looks like you guys are doing well.
