Alex had an "awesome" (his words!) 8th birthday! On his actual birthday, he had soccer practice and his first Pack Meeting, so we started his birthday celebration the day before with a trip to Red Robins. He was so excited to go out to eat for his birthday, eat his very own pizza, and have "Happy Birthday" song to him by Red Robin employees with a free dessert! 
On his birthday, the 24th, we celebrated in the morning with Scooby Doo waffles and Pigs 'n the Blanket (his requests). 
Then he opened all his presents! What a lucky boy!
Natalie, Grandma Sharrid, Grandpa Jim and I brought McDonald's to Alex and we ate lunch together. Then Alex passed out cupcakes to his classmates. YUMMY! 
When Alex got home from school, he went to soccer practice and had his soccer pictures taken. Then we hurried over to the church for his first Pack Meeting. He was so excited!

After Pack Meeting, we rushed home to have cake and ice cream. Alex requested a volcano cake. Little did he know that it would erupt!
