Shoes

It's been raining A LOT here the last week or so. No big deal, that's what you expect around this time of the year. Well, Alex kept coming home from school day after day with dripping wet socks, wet jeans up to about his knees and drenched shoes. I didn't think much of it since he walks to school, I just would tell him to stay off the grass and avoid the puddles.

Then yesterday, I look over at his shoes, which are drying upside down on a heater vent. Wow! I just bought these shoes for this school year and he's already worn the heals down that much!

Then I take a closer look, there's a BIG HOLE in EACH heel!!! No wonder the poor boy has been getting soaked! Needless to say, he went to school with different shoes today and I've already gone to the store and bought him a new pair of shoes with a much THICKER heel!

Hopefully Alex's poor feet will now be able to stay warm and dry!
