The End of Another School Year

Alex had a terrific 2nd grade year in Mr. Broughton's class. His teacher has such a great calmness that transfers to his students. This was great for Alex! We will miss Mr. Broughton and are thankful for his dedication to teaching and for his example for Alex.

Hayden's 3rd grade school year has been, let's say "interesting". After a very frustrating start to the school year followed by 7 weeks of home schooling, Hayden was finally in a classroom where he could have his social and educational needs met. He really enjoys his private school, the other kids in his class and his teacher, Meg. On his last day of school (June 23rd), we went to an awards ceremony where each student was honored. Hayden just beamed! We are so thankful for his new school and teacher! Hayden receiving his award from his teacher, Meg.

After school, Hayden enjoyed showing us one of his favorite things to do at recess (besides using his imagination).
