On July 3rd, since it was a little cloudy and not warm at the beach, we decided to take a day trip to the Mormon Battalion Museum in Old Town San Diego with the Chases. It was lots of fun!

watch video reenactments...
dress up like a battalion member...
and of course, pose for pictures!!!
After visiting the museum, we visited La Jolla Cove. It was beautiful.! The kids really loved the sea lions and watching the waves hit the rocks. I
