We just made our annual pilgramage to the "Gifford-Pinchot Forest" to chopped down our tree. This year, not only were we able to go with several friends, but we also had SNOW!!! In the 7-8 years we have been going to this forest for our tree, we have only encountered snow like this once before. It made for an "interesting" tree hunt. It was more difficult to see what we were stepping on, over and even in (I think each of us got our leg stuck at least once). We should have put our snow pants on first! We brought them but thought we could manage just fine without them. Boy were we wrong! Our pants got pretty wet! So we went back to the Sequioa and corrected our mistake. But, even with these few challenges, we had a super time!
We played in the snow, found a tree and chooped it down (bummer no picture was taken), shot some scenes for our Christmas Lip Sync video, ate chili dogs and cheetoes and drank LOTS of hot chocolate!
