Well, Easter has come and gone but my kids' sugar high has not. Why did I go to the trouble making a YUMMY Blueberry breakfast casserole when my kids wouldn't eat it because they were filled up on candy??? Note to self...no breakfast next year!

Anyway, Easter was a great day for our family. The kids started out the day waking us up to let us know that the Easter bunny hid their baskets but left them clues as to where they were (a first for our family). Once the baskets were found, they were taken downstairs and devoured. My phylosophy is...let them pig out so I don't have to deal with kids begging for their candy for days or weeks! (Sorry primary teachers!)
After breakfast, the Youngs came over for an egg hunt. Let's just say that I haven't seen my boys move that fast in a long time. Natalie even had a blast finding eggs. After trying, and not succeeding taking a family picture before church (aughhh, 2 year olds!), we went to church. It was good. Then tried to take a picture again (augghh, 2 year olds) without Dave because he was counting tithing. Then finally our delicous dinner and dessert with the Youngs. The kids had a great day! They loved getting and devouring candy!

A side note...completely off topic...Natalie has figured out how to unlock ALL door locks! (Augghhh, 2 year olds!)

Agreed - "Augghhh, 2 year olds!" What do we do with them..... but, what would we do without them! I love the idea of the scavenger-hunt for their Easter baskets. Great idea!
