Hayden's 7th Birthday!

On Thursday, Hayden had a birthday party with a few friends at "Glowgolf". It was lots of fun! The kids enjoyed going from hole to hole, putting their balls in the "glowing" machines, eating lots of pizza and cupcakes and just hanging out with each other. Hayden loved each of his presents and couldn't wait to open them up. Because of the "special lighting" we were not allowed to take any pictures with a flash, but Dave snuck one anyway.
Of course on Saturday, Hayden celebrated his actual birthday with the family. The day before his Grandma Reid took him shopping and Hayden picked out a "Indiana Jones" Lego set. So on Saturday morning (he had to wait until his birthday) he pulled it out, put it together (with Dad's help) and played with it pretty much all day.









In the afternoon, we decided to have his cake and ice cream and let him open the rest of his presents (that way he'd have the rest of the day to play with them). He loved everyhing he received, however, once he opened his fish tank, nothing else seemed to matter. About an hour later, we took him to the pet store so that he could pick out 2 goldfish. Boy was he thrilled! Now it's just a waiting game to see how long the fish survive. He fed them 3 times, gave them special treats and rearranged their "decorations". Hopefully they are harty little fellas!
