Alex, The Student Teacher

Once Alex's teacher started doing "student teacher" (the last month of school), Alex would let me know the moment he got home who would be the student teacher the next day. Luckily Alex was able to be the Student Teacher twice. He was so excited!

To be a student teacher, Alex says that you "have to be good for the whole, entire day. You can't do any bad stuff even little stuff. And you can be the student teacher more than one time. And the student teacher picks the next person and it might not be you."

Alex also says that Student Teachers "can ring the bell if the class is loud and then tell the class to be quiet. When the class is very quiet for a long moment the student teacher can put a star on the board, if the teacher agrees. If you get 20 stars you get to have a party."
