More Baseball

Baseball season has finally come to an end (mid June) . The season seemed extra long this year, probably because it's the first year our boys have been on different teams.

This year Hayden played on a Rec team. He really enjoyed playing baseball and we enjoyed watching his skills improve.

Quite often when Hayden went up to bat, he would flap his arms like a bird (from Angels in the Outfield). Other times he would point the bat to were the ball "would go". We were often suprised by something when he batted. This time, however, Hayden was working on getting his elbows up. Great hit!

Alex also played baseball but was in Little League. Alex has definately decided that he does NOT like to play outfield. He much prefers 1st base and the pitcher's position. (what kid doesn't?)

Alex ended his season with a double play. He caught his 2nd pop fly this season AND tagged the 2nd base to get the runner out! Way to go ALEX!

And now we have our weekends back! YEAH!
