The kids and parents had a great time watching as the teachers took each class's balloons over to the hot air tank thingy.

After the launch the first graders had recess. Alex took the time to give Natalie some pushes on the swings!
I am amazed at the extra effort the first grade team took to make this launch happen.
Since this was Alex's second to last day of school, I took a quick picture with him and his teacher, Mrs. McKee. 
Alex loved first grade. He loved his teacher. He loved going to school each day. He loved seeing his friends. He loved math. He loved recess. He LOVED school! I just hope that next year is loved by Alex as much as this year was.
