Honeyman State Park

On July 16th, we loaded up the kids and headed down south to Florence, OR to camp near some huge sand dunes. This was our best camping outing with our kids, ever! It is so nice that they are older and don't need our constant attention!

Our camp site, #C111 was a great size and in a perfect place!

We played games!

The kids met a new friend, Sofia from Seattle. She hung with us a lot at camp. The boys want to take a trip to Seattle to see her.
The kids spent tons of time playing in the hammock (aka swing).

And of course we climbed the sand "mountains". That's us at the top! We loved jumping off the top and running all the way down at full speed!

The kids dug many holes,
We took the kids on a dune buggy tour. WE LOVED IT! It felt like going on a roller coaster!

This was Alex's hair afterward (FYI, he's my super picky hair fanatic!)

We also played at the lake, rode our bikes, ate GOOD camping food, and had a ton of Smores!

When it was time to leave, none of us wanted to go because we were having such a great time!
